CLEAR BRACES: BECAUSE SOME THINGS ARE BETTER NOT NOTICED

Let’s face it, we all want to look and feel our best, but we may not want to tell the world how we got that way. Clear braces are crafted from durable clear, or tooth colored materials such as ceramics, rather than metal. While not every patient is a good candidate for clear braces, those that are will find them to be comfortable and effective, yet also less obvious. Dr. Barakat will determine if clear or ceramic braces will be an option for your orthodontic treatment plan.

Clear braces are especially suited to adult patients who want straight teeth, without the added concern about your appearance. Many patients also report that the smoothed surfaces don’t irritate their gums the way some other braces can.

As we age, teeth can become less luminescent, making them darker. Clear braces utilize semi-translucent ceramic brackets for whiter teeth, while also allowing for tooth-colored ceramic for those with darker teeth. Either way, this allows them to perfectly blend with your teeth, making them much less noticeable than traditional braces. Clear braces are also incredibly strong, making them less prone to chips or cracking.
